Easy And Simple Ways To Deal With Stress!

Following are some tried and tested, easy and simple ways of dealing with stress which are guaranteed to make you feel better and more in control:

Cleaning Your Space

Trust us, if your place is dirty and untidy, you will feel dirty and untidy which can really stress you out more. If you’re feeling quite a lot stressed out then consider cleaning your space. This is a really good stress reliever due to two reasons: Firstly, the mind and body will feel fresh and good, secondly, we are normally stressed when we have something to do, so if you clean your space then your brain will receive the “I did something productive” signal and you will instantly feel a lot calmer and better!

Connect With Your Art Side

A common misunderstanding about Art is that people believe its supposed to be perfect. Nay, Art is a language and a connection between us humans, and humans are messy. Take the notion out that whatever you must create should be perfect and then move forward to draw whatever comes to your mind. Take a big sheet of paper and mix in colors and pens, start off with one thing and then just see where it takes you; you no not need to have a proper plan!

Laugh

Laughing has proved to be a great stress reliever; laughing produces the “feel good” hormones in the brain, along with bringing forward a more positive and optimistic view of life. Pick out a clip or TV show which has a tendency to make you laugh; connect with funny friends, and even if all that fails, just force yourself to laugh. It will look and feel incredibly awkward and stupid, but after a few seconds, the laugh will come naturally.

Scream And Swear Your Guts Out

Have that one person making life incredibly frustrating for you? Scream out towards them! Well, not really, its a bad idea to do it to their face. However, it is found that swearing and screaming is equally effective even if you do it without the frustrating person’s presence. If it helps, scream at their picture – let all the pent up aggression and frustration flow.

Take Use Of Fresh Air

We are biological being who require the natural sunlight and the use of fresh air. The fresh air has been known to make any one feel better, so the next time you feel severely stressed, leave everything and just head out and be as close to nature as possible. Don’t worry, if you have issue with the sun then you can even go out and inhale the fresh air at night.

Take The Break You Need And Deserve

Sometimes we are stressed because a lot of things and changes have been piling up over one another. Sometimes these issues or changes are not significant on their own, but once mixed and crammed together, can turn into a great mountain of stress.

Talk It Out

Stress results from frustrating events or thoughts. Sometimes, all we need to feel de-stressed is to just let our our thoughts and make our feelings known. Vent out to a friend or even a professional, explain what you feel and why you feel it. You will automatically feel a noticeable amount of tension lifted from your shoulders.

Reconnect With Your Childhood Games

For most of us, the highlight of our childhood were the games we played. Looking back now, they may seem awkward in theory, but we like them because we associate them with happiness. Get together with a group of friends and play those childhood games once again.

Use Stress Relieving Tools

Slime, soaked flower foam, bubble wrap and soap are some of the greater stress relievers known. Get some or any of your preference and start de-stressing. Don’t worry, if you are failing to get your hands on one, then videos of others using these tools can be a lot de-stressing as well.

How Do Weighted Blankets Work?

The body contains multiple deep touch pressure receptors that communicate to the nervous system.

The same way that a reassuring hug can ease fear, or the way swaddling a baby can reduce fussiness, so weighted blankets also calm and reassure through gentle, firm pressure. Deep touch pressure (DTP) can reduce cortisol levels and increase melatonin levels, as well.
This means calmer nerves and better sleep!

It Will Pass

While other points are important, remind yourself that this is a phase in life, no matter how long, and it will pass. Think of the previous great problem in life and think about how you thought that it would never go away, yet it did. The only thing constant about life is change, and like all changes in life, this too shall pass.
